Eric and Susanne Tappenden have lived in Markham for over thirty years. They are both active members of their church and their community. Eric is a former Board Chair of Markham Stouffville Hospital Foundation, Markham Theatre, the Markham Prayer Breakfast, Markhaven Foundation, the Markham Board of Trade and has served in many other organizations including the Markham Sunrise Rotary Club, Bereaved Families of York Region, the York Region Police Appreciation Committee, and is the Vice Chair of the Character Community Foundation of York Region, among others. Susanne & Eric have raised their three children in Markham, the oldest of whom, Glenn, has now joined the team at Chapel Ridge.

Sagen Pearse grew up in Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario and has lived and worked in Markham for the last six years. He is passionate about serving people at the most difficult time in their lives. Sagen makes himself available day or night for anyone who requires assistance. He shows compassion and a willingness to go above and beyond one’s expectations.
Tammy Pak, Manager Chinese Services
Tammy Pak is a long time Markham resident. She has served at Chapel Ridge Funeral Home since 2005. Tammy has previous experience as a bank manager and is active in the community as a member of the York Region Rotary Club and a volunteer at The Yee Hong Centre for Geriatric Health. She is also an active parishioner at St Agnes Catholic Church in Markham. Tammy has an expert knowledge of funeral practices of many groups including Evangelical, Protestant, Catholic, Buddhist, Taoist, and many other traditions.
